Basically, there are two main ways to get to Trutnov: by train or by bus.
The bus is cheaper, takes just 2 hours and runs more frequently, but its capacity is more limited.
The train takes 3 hours, but it's more comfortable and it's easier to get a seat.
The ticket costs 40 Kč (1.5€) for 90 minutes and is valid for the metro, trams and buses (except for AE bus).
You can buy the ticket in ticket terminals on buses, trams, and metro stations or at ticket machines. More info here.
The direct train goes every 2 hours and it takes 3 hours to get to Trutnov. You can search the timetables on IDOS.cz. Don't worry if all the seats in the reservation system are already reserved. Not all seats can be reserved, so you can still find a free seat on the train. Also, in the worst case scenario, you can stand or sit in the train aisle.
Both the train station and bus station in Trutnov are located 1.5 km (1 mi) from the OEF area. Link to the map
